Ambulatory Surgery Centers

Oregon’s Patient Safety Reporting Program is designed to collect information that can be shared and used to improve the healthcare system. Over half of all Oregon ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) have joined the Commission’s adverse event reporting program. Reporting Standards

The standards for reporting include the quantity, quality, and timeliness of reports submitted. The 2011 ASC Reporting Standard is that all participating ASCs will submit at least one report of an adverse event or potential event.
