Oregon’s Patient Safety Reporting Program is designed to collect information that can be shared and used to improve the healthcare system. Over 75% of Oregon’s nursing homes have agreed to participate in the adverse event reporting program. Reporting Standards

The standards for reporting include the quantity, quality, and timeliness of reports submitted. The 2011 Nursing Home Reporting Standard is that all participating nursing homes will submit at least one report of an adverse event or potential event.
