We’re Seeking a Writer and Communications Expert

We’re seeking the services of a seasoned writer with a journalism, professional writing, and/or communications background to assess the writing and communication needs of our organization to effectively fulfill our mission and program mandates, and to help us build a robust communications program. This is a part-time, remote contract position that will report to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
Provide recommendations for processes and resources to support identified writing and communications needs.
Contribute to current writing and editing needs and incorporate communication best practices and effective use of organizational resources.
This hands-on work will both inform the final recommendations and provide sample work product and/or templates to support the writing and communications work of the agency going forward.

Project Timeline: We anticipate this project will take 6 months. Hours per week will vary based on business needs.
Compensation (Hourly Rate): $50 to $65
