About the Meeting
Join us on December 10, 2026, as we hear from Leilani Schweitzer, co-founder of Comms Corps. Comms Corps was born from a shared understanding of the profound impact communication has in the aftermath of medical harm.
Leilani draws on over 12 years leading the Communication and Resolution Program at Stanford Healthcare, and her own experience as a mother after her son, Gabriel, died from medical errors. This unique position provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the complex challenges healthcare systems face regarding disclosure and accountability.
Leilani will share more about the innovative curriculum that draws from thousands of conversations with impacted patients, families, attorneys, physicians, and administrators. This course gives healthcare professionals practical help for the conversations that follow harm: what to say to patients and families, what not to say, and how to stay honest while respecting legal concerns.
Join us to hear from Leilani and ask her questions about how to apply this approach to your own organization.
